Tips after getting the card
- Do not allow any person to access your credit card and keep it in safe.
- Do not share your credit card details with other people.
- Signature must be signed behind the card upon receipt.
- Destroy old or expired cards.
- Protect your credit card data when making purchases or withdrawing cash.
- Never write your password on the card.
- Do not write your password in the wallet.
- Keep the receipt and compare it with the card statement.
- If any difference occur in the account statement or transaction that you have not carried out, you should contact the Nayifat customer care directly and report these differences.
- When purchasing from the Internet, you should deal with well-known merchants and agencies with a good reputation and ensure the availability of a secure protection system when using credit card details.
- Request and review your credit history once a year.
- Contact Nayifat customer care directly to report the loss (lost) or stolen card.
- Change your passwords regularly, especially when returning from travel, and do not respond to unidentified calls or emails.
- Keep credit card in a safe place and do not leave it away from you.

Travels Tips
- Make sure you sign on the signature bar on the back of the card.
- Inform us about the destination and the period of your travel, so we do not suspend your credit card, unless we suspect an unauthorized activity.
- Do not carry all your credit and debit cards with you when you travel. This decreases the risk of having all your cards being lost or stolen.
- Carry a record of the card numbers, including the customer service number, in a safe place. This will make it easier for you to inform us about a lost or stolen card.
- Before you use any ATM, take extra care and check if there is any external plastic card reader that aims at stealing your information.
- When you type your PIN at any merchant, make sure no one can see it.
- Do not allow waiters or cashiers to take your card out of your sight and swipe it on your behalf.
- Make sure you update your mobile number at Nayifat to receive notifications about transactions on a regular basis. This will allow you to inform us about any transaction you suspect.
- Review the transaction amount before you approve it, to avoid any fraud that could be more than the exact amount.
- If any retailer claims that the first transaction did not go through, make sure you get the cancellation slip. This will help you avoid double charge.
- Change your PIN on a regular basis through call center or online services.
- Check all your cards statements and if any dispute contact the Nayifat immediately
- Avoid using unsecured Wi-Fi, public or shared networks.

E-Commerce (3D Secure)
This feature protects and secure a cardholder when he/she purchase through internet by receiving one-time password (OTP) for every individual ecommerce transaction.
A customer credit card will be registered directly with the Visa 3D secure system. OTP will be received by SMS on the phone number or email registered at Nayifat Finance Company for every individual ecommerce purchase. The cardholder must enter the OTP number to confirm his ecommerce purchase. The 3D secure system ensures secured ecommerce transaction while using Nayifat credit card without hesitation and fear of using cardholder data by entities that are not authorized to make illegal purchases.
Tips for secured e-commerce:
- Ensure that the link begins with the secure encryption protocol (https://) instead of the common protocol (http://).
• Ensure that website is secured, as the lock icon should appear in the browser’s address bar, and you must pay attention to any other security warnings that may arise from the browser.
• Read carefully the (alert) notifications messages sent to your phone number and ensure the purchase information is correct as per your input.
• Check all specifications (details) of the product you wish (will) to purchase, and do not purchase counterfeit goods.
• Make sure to buy from well-known and guaranteed websites and make sure to evaluate the product and its description therefore your online purchase will be secured.
• Check the credit card statement frequently; at least once a month, it is preferable to (cardholder must) activate the notifications feature when making any purchased using the credit card.
• Ensure the reliability of ecommerce websites and that they are information-safe (in term of cyber-security ability).
• It is not preferable to use public Wi-Fi networks to implement ecommerce.
